Turquoise

Benjamin and I snuck away to Tulum, Mexico for Spring Break. Tulum is about 2 hours south of Cancun and we stayed at an eco-resort with no electricity. We slept in a screen-sided palapa and woke to the sounds of surf and wildlife. Delightful.

Terrific Tulum

The Tulum Mayan ruins were spectacularly perched on a cliff at sea's edge. Fascinating to think of the Spanish sailing up the shore to encounter the lovely settlement!
